New Running Site

Those on the C25K Bandwagon, just found the coolest site!

Map My Run lets you create different routes to see your distance, speed, and calories burned. You can save them to your training log and see what progress you make!

Super cool. I'm always guessing how far I've run, and I've been known to drive it out in my car afterwards. But this is much more efficient, and we all know I'm all about efficiency since I really don't have any extra time in my life.

Enjoy! (And let me know how running is going for you!)

How neat...of course when I look up my address it has all of my streets around me wrong...ugh! I drive my routes all the time to see how far they are...too funny!

Thanks for the link. I'll check it out. I've used a similar site before, www.walkjogrun.net. It also shows paths that people in that neighborhood have already mapped out. Sometimes, it's a little hard to work with so maybe this site will be better!

My husband uses this to track all his training stuff (he's doing a marathon in May & triathalon in July). 90% of my running lately has been on the treadmill so I haven't explored it much yet. This is my last week of c25k & I am consistently doing the 5k (3.1 miles) in 30 minutes!

Cool site! :)

I had to start over bc I slacked big time when our family was visiting. However, the point is - I started over! I didn't quit. I'm one run away from week 2.
