My husband played football in college and is now a high school assistant coach, so I was so excited to when author Kandi Steiner announced Fair Catch. Stiner's football knowledge is spot-on and she did a great job writing college football. Riley and Zeke's romance covered so many great tropes and this was a book I did not want to put down. It was so well done and enjoyable.

WELL. Gianni.... gimme! By the end I was head over heels for him. Ellie was a bit stubborn for me at times, but at the end when I had a huge smile on my face at how it all came together so adorably...... it was just perfection!

Nate Hughes was such a great hero- swoony and broody, gorgeous and successful, and a great dad to boot. Sassy Paige was such a great match for him and I loved seeing her fit in perfectly with Nate and his son Ryder. Ryder was such a hoot! Paige's childhood was heartbreaking, and when we find out about Nate's childhood, I just felt so much for both of them. I absolutely loved them together. I'm also super excited to get to know all of Paige's brothers in author Locke's upcoming Carmichael series.

I love her unique storylines, complex and relatable characters, undeniable chemistry, and believable dialog. Reading Troy and Aspyn's story in The Assignment was all that and more! My favorite side characters were Aspyn's young niece Kiki and Troy's grandfather Nonno. They were both such a big party of the story and so well-written.

After finishing the first book in the trilogy, The Difference Between Somebody and Someone, I was on the edge of my seat for the second book. With the second book, The Difference Between Somehow and Someway, author Aly Martinez crafted yet another installment that left me on the edge of my seat again! This book alternates between past and present chapters to give us some more insight about the events that led up to the first book. As I neared the end of the book, I figured Martinez would again knock my socks off with another cliffhanger, but I was not prepared for this twist. I honestly thought I knew what was coming, but I was so wrong! My anticipation is so high for book 3 and I can't wait to see how she ties it all together with a satisfying ending, as I know she will.

Katie and Harlan were so great together. Harlan was quite swoon-worthy- he's a single dad professional athlete who's just an all-around fantastic guy. Sassy and driven yoga instructor Katie was such a great match for him. I love that author Blakely has created a world with such charming characters and her books always have scorching chemistry and fantastic dialog. I purchased the audiobook and enjoyed performances by Erin Mallon and Zachary Webber- they are two of my favorite narrators and always do such a great job. As with most Blakely audiobooks, some fun extras are included at the end.

After finishing the first book in the trilogy, The Difference Between Somebody and Someone, I was on the edge of my seat for the second book. With the second book, The Difference Between Somehow and Someway, author Aly Martinez crafted yet another installment that left me on the edge of my seat again! This book alternates between past and present chapters to give us some more insight about the events that led up to the first book. As I neared the end of the book, I figured Martinez would again knock my socks off with another cliffhanger, but I was not prepared for this twist. I honestly thought I knew what was coming, but I was so wrong! My anticipation is so high for book 3 and I can't wait to see how she ties it all together with a satisfying ending, as I know she will.
