Biggest Player was such a fun book! Sometimes I need a hilarious non-angsty book from one of my favorite authors who knows how to write the most hysterical situations and banter. Author Sara Ney never disappoints me! Dex and Margo's story was so sweet and I LOVED Wyatt (Margo's 10 year old daughter) too. The text messages were so amusing and their chemistry was perfect. I am really enjoying this series and can't wait to read more.

Katie and Harlan were so great together. Harlan was quite swoon-worthy- he's a single dad professional athlete who's just an all-around fantastic guy. Sassy and driven yoga instructor Katie was such a great match for him. I love that author Blakely has created a world with such charming characters and her books always have scorching chemistry and fantastic dialog. I purchased the audiobook and enjoyed performances by Erin Mallon and Zachary Webber- they are two of my favorite narrators and always do such a great job. As with most Blakely audiobooks, some fun extras are included at the end.
When my young son inherited half of his great grandfather’s historic inn, I decided to move us both to the place where I grew up.
Notice I said half of the Inn. The other half now belonged to Levi Miller, the famous quarterback who had other ideas about what we should do with the property.
We won’t mention that I accidentally injured him during our first meeting, causing him to get eight stitches.
You could say we got off on the wrong foot.
We bickered a lot as we both moved into the property while we figured things out.

Levi and Presley were magic together and Presley's son Alex was so cute and added so much to the story. Levi made me fall hard and fast and I adored the steamy dynamic between he and Presley. Well Played was full of humor, heat and heart and I enjoyed it so much.

Jessica Peterson's North Carolina Highlands series has been such a delight thus far, and I'm happy to say Southern Playboy fell in that camp as well. There are so many great tropes represented- single dad, nanny/boss, second chance and slow burn are all favorites of mine and so enjoyable here. The secret baby trope is not typically a favorite of mine, but the way the author handled the situation was new and refreshing and pretty darn fantastic. Toddler Liam absolutely stole the show for me, although I loved reading about Amelia and Rhett's second chance at love. Life is messy and never perfect, and compromise is necessary in relationships- seeing the main characters both come to this realization was so satisfying. Their journey felt authentic and real.

When Beckett reached the landing, he

My review: 4.25 starsI have enjoyed the Bellamy Creek series so much and am sad to see it end. Tie Me Down was heartwarming and sweet and the author dealt with Beckett's father's condition so well. Beckett and Maddie's second chance love story was so touching and I loved how well Maddie and her son Elliott fit right in in Bellamy Creek. What an amazing epilogue- it updated us on all the characters from the series and was delightful.I listed to the audiobook and it was fantastic- Amanda Ronconi and Connor Crais were well-cast. I listened at 1.25X and it was perfectly conversational to me.
