Below Deck! I just didn't know what I was missing. I was immediately drawn into Love Overboard and I could not stop listening! I loved the messy, angsty second chance romance between chef stew Ember and and chef Finn on the luxury yacht they worked on. And I loved the way the story gave us flashbacks into the past, and little sound effect that played on the audiobook whenever we got a flashback was such a great way of handling it. As an avid podcast listener, I really enjoyed the setting of Try Me- it was so cool to see behind the scenes of the industry! Drake Bennett was all green flags to me and totally swoon-worthy. I loved seeing Drake take fake dating Gianna so seriously- it was so refreshing to see a guy with so many positive characteristics. As always, author Adriana Locke wrote the best banter between these two- they were so different, yet still so well matched and great for each other.

I always adore author Lauren Blakely's wit and she is the best banter writer I know. The love letters from the past were a treat and I loved the parallel of the letter romance to Corbin and Mabel's romance.

Both of them had issues in their past that led them to be reluctant to trust, but together they really seemed to help each other through those issues. The Romance Line was super fun! The romance between grumpy hockey goalie Max and sunshine team PR employee Everly was such a delight. I listened to the duet style audiobook and Vanessa Edwin and Teddy Hamilton were fantastic. I loved seeing Max's softer side (he's fostering a KITTEN and it's just adorable!) and seeing Everly navigate her workplace romance felt authentic. I am loving this series and looking forward to more Sea Dogs.

The grumpy/sunshine trope is always an immediate "Yes!" from me so I was excited to dive into this audiobook, the first in Adriana Locke's new Landry Security series. I really enjoyed the performances of CJ Bloom and Connor Brown as Dahlia and Troy. I loved that Dahlia was break down the resistance of rule following bodyguard and co-worker Troy- they were so great together and their attraction and relationship felt so real. Dahlia's "Best Neighbor" Burt was such a great side character- I really looked forward to his scenes! This was a great start to the new series and I am looking forward to more books about Landry Security.

Yay for a new hockey series from one of my favorite authors, Sarina Bowen! The New Guy was just fantastic, and once I started the audiobook, I didn't want to stop. I was excited to see that Teddy Hamilton was one of the narrators, along with new-to-me J.F. Harding, and the performances of both were captivating and added so much to the story. Gavin and Hudson were such a great couple, and I adored Jordyn, Gavin's daughter. She was such a great little hockey fan. Looking forward to reading more hockey romance- Bowen has already announced the next book in the series, I'm Your Guy.

Christian Knox is hands-down one of my favorite book heroes. He was so charming and I loved how he patiently wooed our heroine Bella. I always find Vi Keeland's books to be hard to put down, and The Game was no exception. There was everything I love about romance novels- witty banter, scorching chemistry, and characters I'd love to hang out with. Keeland always gives her readers unique premises and situations, and I loved that Bella was a female owner of the football team that Knox played for. (And this Okie also loved that Knox's brother played for a team in my state- we totally need an pro team here!) I laughed, I longed right along with Bella and Knox, and I positively swooned!
