This was so charming! It was fast paced and fun and made me smile. Callum was all green flags to me and I adored he and Annabelle together. Their banter and chemistry was so good. I loved that this book was light on the drama and filled with hilarity.

What does one do when they completely blow an interview?
If you're me, you pick up a one-night stand with the most gorgeous man you've ever seen…
That's right, after a lousy interview that could have changed everything for me, I headed over to the local small town bar to sulk when the one man I shouldn't want walked in. And when my friend convinced me to take him back to my hotel room, I didn't think about it, I just did it . . . well, I did him.
It was an unforgettable night, but I didn't stay for breakfast. Instead, I got out of there and tried not to think about him again.
Everything was fine until I received a call from the interviewer saying I got the job as the assistant baseball coach at Almond Bay High. I'd be working directly under the one and only Ryland Rowley--my one-night stand.
Now, I'm not only working with him but renting the apartment above his garage. And I have to deal with the fact that he's the man I dream about and can't have while not letting my attraction get in the way of keeping the harmony between us. Sounds easy, doesn't it?
It should have been, except the plan falls apart when my shower breaks, and night after night I have to slip into his house to use the bathroom only to find him in the kitchen, staring me down with those hungry, single dad eyes.
So glad to be back in Almond Bay! I adore author Meghan Quinn’s signature brand of heart and hilarity and Ryland and Gabby’s story was so good! The Almond Bay series has been fantastic.

Sometimes the wedding of the
century calls for desperate measures.
And sometimes those desperate
measures are to pretend the person you hate most is actually your boyfriend.
After years of working her tail off at her event-planning
business, Maggie Mitchell is ready for a vacation. With nothing on her mind but
R & R, she's enjoying the warm weather of Bora Bora when in saunters Brody
McFadden, her brother's best friend and also her sworn enemy. Thanks to years
of tension between the two―kicked off by a make-out session at her brother's
wedding that ended horribly―Maggie has sworn to stay away from the man. That
is, until she finds out he's in Bora Bora for his boss's daughter's wedding,
hoping to use the trip to win a real future at the company.
Maggie promised herself she wouldn't even think of work on the
island, but as word spreads about the "wedding of the century" taking
place in the midst of her vacation, she realizes offering her services as a
bridesmaid and planner could bring her business to the next level. The only
catch? She needs to pose as Brody's girlfriend to get the job…while letting him
stay in her peaceful bungalow.
Tensions rise, irritation flairs,
and despite years' worth of bickering behind closed doors, Maggie can't quite
squash the sparks building between her and her new fake boyfriend, especially
when she learns the real reason their first kiss was cut short. But as the
wedding day draws closer and everything starts to go wrong, it just might be
Brody who sends Maggie's business crashing down―and her heart along with it.
Oh how I love a vacation romance! I just finished the duet-style audiobook and I enjoyed it so much. Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke always do a spectacular job with their narration and they really brought characters Maggie and Brody to life with their performances in Bridesmaid for Hire. Author Meghan Quinn always makes me cackle with laughter and there were so many hilarious moments. Seriously, so many! I'm excited to see this book listed as #1 in the series because I definitely want to read more about this group!

Oh I loved every second of this book! Single dad Tuck and Maren, the new nanny for Tuck's darling 4 year old daughter, were so so good for each other! Grumpy/sunshine is always a favorite trope for me, and both characters were so well-written. To be honest, the 12 year age gap didn't even seem like much at all because of how mature the heroine Maren was- she was definitely wise beyond her years. I adored Tuck- he was such a fantastic father, provider and friend, and Maren seamlessly fit right in his little family. This book would read just fine as a standalone, but characters from the first book in the series are featured and if you haven't read it (I Wish I Knew Then), I recommend it as well! The setting for this series, Harbour Village, has such a wonderful small town atmosphere I totally would love to live there!
You’re probably wondering why I would do such a thing? Well, I didn’t.
It was my teammates.
The moment they found out Blakely White was single, they took it upon themselves to play cupid and instruct me on how I should win her over.
Don't wear a shirt around her. Make her dinner. Lightly touch her shoulder when you say goodbye.
I'm so flustered, so overwhelmed, so madly in love with this woman who barely notices me, that I lose control of the situation and make one huge mistake: I offer to be her fake date for a wedding so she can make her ex jealous.
That means, for one whole night I get a free pass with her. I get to hold her, dance with her, kiss her…stare at her from across the room like she’s my entire world because she has been for months now.
But when the night comes to an end, I’m faced with two options: bring her back to my bedroom and show her how I really feel, or let her walk away, succumbing to the fact that I very well might not be her type.
Erin Mallon and Connor Crais narrate this sexy, roommates-to-lovers romance in duet with a full cast including Jason Clarke, Teddy Hamilton, JF Harding, and Kelsey Navarro!
Author Meghan Quinn has a special brand of hilarity that I absolutely love- and Sherman the bonsai tree? So good! I loved every moment I spent listening to an early copy of the duet narration starring Erin Mallon and Connor Crais and included a full cast featuring Jason Clarke, Teddy Hamilton, JF Harding, and Kelsey Navarro. Their performances brought the story to life and it was perfection. I had been waiting (somewhat impatiently!) for Halsey's story and it was absolutely worth the wait. The quiet ones, am I right? He and Blakely together were fire and I enjoyed their story so much. It's so fun when Quinn leaves readers little Easter Eggs to discover, and there were some fun ones in here!

Oh this was fun! I especially loved how spunky country music star Kelly was and how annoyed she got at her brother for hiring the grumpy bodyguard Xander for her! After meeting Xander in book 1 of the Cherry Tree Harbor series, I was excited to get to know him better, and he was perfection. It was also fun to catch up with Veronica and Austin again. Hideaway Heart was spicy and swoony and the banter was *chef's kiss*.
She clears her throat, shifting her
weight from one foot to the other. “May I ask you to let me see your emails,
please?”
Excuse me?
I press my lips together, curiosity
getting the best of me, and pull my phone out of my pocket.
“Jess?”
“No, you may not see my emails.”
Her hands go to her hips. “Please?”
“What are you up to, Pip?”
She reaches for my phone in a quick,
bold move. Unfortunately for her, I’m quicker. I hold it up in the air and
effectively out of her reach.
“Please, don’t look at them. At least
not with me standing here,” she says, hopping a whole foot off the ground to
try to reach the device.
I chuckle. “What did you do?”
“Give it to me.” She hops again.
“Now.”
“Not a chance.” I swipe the screen
and find my email app as she tries to tug my arm down. “Will you stop it?”
“Jess,” she says, fake crying. She
stops hopping. “Wait.”
I laugh at her little pout. “You are
so fucking cute.”
“I hate you.”
“You do not.”
The app opens, and I scan my inbox.
It’s the third message from the top that catches my attention.

SEEKING AN EX-HUSBAND
Blurb:
SEEKING AN EX-HUSBAND
I need a fake ex-husband.
Let me explain …
I may have let it slip to my new
co-workers that I have an ex-husband. Now they’re fascinated with the details,
specifically with him.
Why wouldn’t they be? He’s gorgeous,
has exceptional skills in the bedroom, and is determined to win me back.
But there’s a problem. He doesn’t
exist.
The bigger problem? I have to produce
him to save my job.
This is where you come in.
I’m seeking someone to play a smitten
ex-husband for two weeks. You’ll need to remember our love story—details matter
when it comes to romance! Please be prepared to travel in-state at a moment’s
notice. We may be in close proximity and sharing a bed may be required.
One more thing—kisses are required
for optics as necessary.
If this sounds interesting or, at the
very least, entertaining, let me know.
Signed,
Your Future Ex-Wife
Buckle up for a steamy adventure
between friends-turned-lovers in this new “fresh twist on a favorite trope!”
take on fake dating, close proximity, and romance in the workplace from USA
Today Bestselling author Adriana Locke.
About the
Author:
USA Today Bestselling author, Adriana
Locke, writes contemporary romances about the two things she knows best—big
families and small towns. Her stories are about ordinary people finding
extraordinary love with the perfect combination of heart, heat, and humor.
She loves connecting with readers,
fall weather, football, reading alpha heroes, everything pumpkin, and
pretending to garden.
Hailing from a tiny town in the
Midwest, Adriana spends her free time with her high school sweetheart (who she
married over twenty-five years ago) and their four sons (who truly are her best
work). Her kitchen may be a perpetual disaster, and if all else fails, there is
always pizza.
After 22 years working in the electric utility industry, I have a deep respect for line workers. I was so excited that Chase was one himself! And when I read that Megan had experience working for a nail polish company (and nail polish is my other hobby besides reading romance!) I was immediately IN! Chase and Megan had so much immediate chemistry, I was hooked instantly. Having a spirited teenage daughter myself, I related so much to Chase parenting his daughter Kennedy, and I love the bond Kennedy and Megan created. Author Adriana Locke created another family with so many siblings I want to know better- fingers crossed for more from this family!
North Boston University’s star running back, notorious bachelor, and number one on my people I would murder if I could get away with it list.
And now?
He’s my new roommate.
I used to think I loved him.
But that was before I hated him.
He doesn’t remember who I am, or how he made my life miserable for years. And before I unknowingly moved across the street from him, I couldn’t have cared less. I was living my life despite him and what happened that summer, chasing my dream of becoming a tattoo artist.
“The Pit,” as the university so gracefully nicknamed the house he lives in with three other football players, has served as nothing more than a pain in my ass and a constant reminder of the boy who broke my heart. Watching him parade his one-night-stands in and out of it never helped, either.
But with rent this cheap and so close to the tattoo shop, I’ve learned to ignore him — no matter how he’s tried to get under my skin.
At least, until this summer. Because when a water and mold disaster leaves me with no choice but to vacate my house, I have nowhere to go. And Leo Hernandez offers me a deal I can’t refuse.
Live at The Pit with him and the guys, free of charge, until my landlord fixes this mess.
Ignoring him was easy when I lived across the street, but in the same house, with him shirtless half the time and watching me with his cocky grin and searing gaze? It’s impossible.
Still, I have to try. I have to push him away, even when he makes it infuriatingly difficult to do so.
He’s broken my heart once.
I won't let him do it again.

My review: 5 stars!Hail Mary was such a great conclusion to the Red Zone Rivals Series. Mary and Leo's story was one of my favorites- from the moment we were told that Mary disliked Leo in a previous book, I was dying to know why! I could not have guessed the connection and that Leo was unaware himself. Although Hail Mary would read just fine as a standalone, this group of college football players and their girlfriends that author Kandi Steiner created is such a varied, interesting group that you'll definitely want to read all four books. I loved the epilogue so much!
Meet Kandi
Kandi Steiner is an Amazon Top 5 bestselling author and whiskey connoisseur living in Tampa, FL. Best known for writing "emotional rollercoaster" stories, she loves bringing flawed characters to life and writing about real, raw romance -- in all its forms. No two Kandi Steiner books are the same, and if you're a lover of angsty, emotional, and inspirational reads, she's your gal.
An alumna of the University of Central Florida, Kandi graduated with a double major in Creative Writing and Advertising/PR with a minor in Women's Studies. She started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her "freedom of press."
She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die hard hopeless romantic, and likes to highlight all the challenges of love as well as the triumphs.
When Kandi isn't writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, planning her next adventure, or pole dancing (yes, you read that right). She enjoys live music, traveling, playing with her fur babies and soaking up the sweetness of life.
