What a great ending to the trilogy for Damon and Ainsley! I so enjoy reading about the Diamond and Mackenzie families and am always ready for the next book. I do think their story may just be my favorite- the way Damon loves Ainsley makes me absolutely swoon.

Author Sara Ney always makes me cackle and I adored grumpy introvert Brodie! The squirrel meet-cute was a hoot and this was such a fun read. I definitely liked Lizzy more and more as the book went on and by the epilogue I was all in for this couple. Brodie's roommates were a hoot and I hope Sully gets a book!

When I saw the the male lead in Burnout was going to be Knox, a brother of Hendrick's from Jenshak's Tempting the Player, I was so excited! Although I don't know much about motocross, I was excited to dive in and learn. And having both main characters be athletes was fantastic- I do have some knowledge about gymnastics, so reading about Avery's sport was definitely fun. I absolutely loved the banter between grumpy Knox and sunshine Avery, and watching their slow burn romance grow was so enjoyable- I especially loved that they developed a friendship first. This was so good!

After it was revealed in the third book in the Campus Wallflowers series that mysterious Jane was actually a former teen TV star Ivy Green (think Hannah Montana) I was really excited for her story, and Tempting the Player was a happy surprise as she forms a relationship not with a college athlete, but with the secret bodyguard named Hendrick she forms a crush on before she realizes he's been hired to keep her safe. There was sort of a grumpy/sunshine dynamic between them once they actually meet and it's so cute how Jane brings him fancy coffee drinks to make him smile. I loved seeing them get to know each other and their attraction for each grow. Hendrick's house and his brothers were a hoot and added so much to the story. The suspense plot is well done. I do think this can be read just fine as a standalone, but you'll definitely want to go back and read the other books in the series to get to know the other Wallflower girls better- it's truly a great series!

Each Colter I meet becomes my favorite, but I don't know if anyone can top Drake. (Looking at your Drew!) And maybe it's because I married a college football player, but I found Drake just adorable and dreamy and SWOONY. The banter and text messages between Drake and Daisy was top notch and so darn funny. I loved that he called her Sassy! He's just so darn charming and I will readily admit to highlighting quite a few things he said that were just darling.

If you know me, you know I'm a bit of a wallflower myself, and married a college football player, so I can so relate to the Campus Wallflowers series. Scoring the Player was just delightful and I enjoyed Dahlia and Felix's story so much. Fake relationships are always fun, and it was so great to see them truly falling for each other as they got to know each other better. Felix was just so kind and sweet and just an all-around great guy- swoon! I loved that Dahlia was a college athlete too and it was neat to see her play a sport we don't see that much in the romance world- golf. I listened to the audiobook and Jason Clarke's growly voice was just perfect for Felix, and Erin Mallon always gives such great performances, so she was a great voice for Dahlia.

Oh how I loved Heart of Gold! Best friend to lovers is such a great trope and I always love that moment where the couple each, separately, realizes they are meant to be! This was such a sweet story and Will and Ramsey were just darling! If you are new to author Amie Knight and enjoyed this story, you must go back and read A Steel Heart to see when Miranda and Holden, who are featured in this story, first meet. You'll also love getting to see Will as a young boy in A Steel Heart.

Hail Mary was such a great conclusion to the Red Zone Rivals Series. Mary and Leo's story was one of my favorites- from the moment we were told that Mary disliked Leo in a previous book, I was dying to know why! I could not have guessed the connection and that Leo was unaware himself. Although Hail Mary would read just fine as a standalone, this group of college football players and their girlfriends that author Kandi Steiner created is such a varied, interesting group that you'll definitely want to read all four books. I loved the epilogue so much!

How to Lose at Love was just delightful! I met my husband when he was playing college football and he was a little bit like Dallas…… so southern, too busy with football for girls, but inside he was dreamy! This book takes me right back to 1993. I loved Ryann- she's so sassy and a perfect match for Dallas. And of course since Dallas reminds me of the love of my life, I found him pretty perfect and such a hoot. What a great start to a new series!

My husband played football in college and is now a high school assistant coach, so I was so excited to when author Kandi Steiner announced Fair Catch. Stiner's football knowledge is spot-on and she did a great job writing college football. Riley and Zeke's romance covered so many great tropes and this was a book I did not want to put down. It was so well done and enjoyable.
