Preserving My Christmas Cards

Earlier this month Angry Julie had a fabulous tutorial for preserving your Christmas cards. I was so excited to find a way to keep them all together because I love getting them back out each year and seeing how our friends kids have grown.

If you've been around Sasha for any length of time at all, you know my turn-around time is just not good. I've been carrying around those notebook rings I got at the office supply store in my purse for over two weeks, and last week I broke down and purchased another hole punch because mine was MIA. But I just hadn't taken that final step and actually done the project. Yeah, I'm a slacker. I've made peace with it.

Poor P has been sick all week, and I was home with him yesterday afternoon, so I took the opportunity to get it done! It turned out great, and I even found my 2009 stack of cards and did the same with them.

Feels good to have my craft for the month done. :-)

That is so cute and simple! Great way to save the cards instead of throwing them all in a drawer.

Love it, wish I started something like that years ago! Guess it's not too late to start, right! ;)

Well you're one step ahead of me! I actually saw this idea on a blog too right after Christmas, but I still haven't done anything!

Now that is just cool. I keep my cards with my Christmas decorations...pretty fun to wait a year between looking at them like you do too.

Thanks so much for your kind comment on my blog too! :)

Awesome idea. For years, I've been just throwing the stack of cards in with Christmas decs... NEXT year, when I get everything out, I'm going to go back and do this. Yea!
(Now, who will remind me?)
