What's For Dinner?

The Sashas are having Chicken Cordon Bleu from my new cookbook.

Stay tuned for the results!
Do you have crockpot recipes you love? We are hoping to use our more to make the evenings less stressful. I'd love your ideas!

This is a favorite at our house. Four butterfly porkchops and 4 packets of brown gravy...that's it! Put the meat in the crockpot and mix the gravy according to the directions. Pour over the meat and set on low. It's ready by dinnertime and I serve with either baked or mashed potatoes and use the the gravy on them. It's a winner!

4 chicken breasts (can be frozen), 1 can of black beans, 1 cup of rice, 2 cups of water, 1 16 oz jar of salsa. Yum yum.

Sash, I want you to post that recipe if it's a winner! I'm in desperate need of time savers, too...

So, I just read Erin's recipe to my hubby and he said:
sounds really good, esp if you throw some mushrooms in there!
:) Can't wait...

I can't wait to hear about it! I can't make a thing in the crockpot. Everything comes out mush...and it is supposed to be so easy!

Verdict: It was kinda "meh". We liked it OK, but won't make it again. I am for sure going to try Erin's porkchop recipe and Marni's mexican recipe. (Is that Cougann Marni?????)

Elaine, I have been needing to try your brisket taco recipe- Mr. Sasha will love it I am sure.
