Reality Check: Shred It or Dread It

Last week Slim and I (and Big Bubba) were eating lunch in celebration of Slim's 35th birthday.

Whilst I was dunking my 59th tortilla chip in the oh-so-creamy cheese dip, Slim smiled at me across the table and said "So, how's your Shred program going?".

Yeah, not well.

So today we start o-vah. I've actually got my WW QuikTrak Diary right here and am logging all food I eat so I am at least accountable to this damn notebook. There are no birthdays at work for a bit so I won't be tempted to make any random desserts. Although I am disclosing that I am going to make Hot Bean Dip and Bacon Ranch Dip for the 4th and do plan on taking a day off-plan to celebrate.

But it's happening y'all- I'm losing 10 pounds by July 23. Pinky-swear.

I am with you. The summer of beer is starting to take it's toll on me. So, I'll take 5 pounds by July 23rd.

Ugh. I'm starting, too. Since this damn toe injury (doesn't that sound pathetic?), I swear everything has fallen apart. No jogging... a weekend at my MIL's (think Paula Deen)... The hubby and I have done the Shred twice tho and we love it! Tonight will be the 3rd.... I'll check in with ya via email! :)

I have fallen in love with Spinning! But, I go to my parents and grandparents every other weekend and my mother gives me hostess cupcakes and ben and jerry's! I keep losing 3 lbs and regaining it on the weekends!

Dieting and exercising sucks!! At least, that is my opinion. But, it feels so nice at the end of an accomplished day in the diet and exercise regimen. I feel fresh and clean! Does that make sense?

I just wanted to make sure all your faithfuls know that first of all I would NEVER judge you ;) for eating 59 tortilla chips and secondly that you look awesome regardless of how many lbs you want to lose. Love ya!

Anyone else have sore ankles from doing the shred with jillian micheals?

I got to day 9 and had to stop for a few days. My ankles hurt so bad i could hardly walk.

I will try it again when i feel better, hope my ankles don't get sore again.

Oh yeah i lost 2 lbs in 9 days!!
