Febreze Set and Refresh- My New Love!

I have often professed my love for Febreze products, especially the candles, and I swear to you this is a totally un-biased rave because Febreze doesn't know me and I purchased these products with my own hard-earned cash.

Last week I purchased one of their newest products, Set & Refresh, in the Apple Spice & Delight fragrance and it's devine! Described as "The warm scent of fresh baked Red Delicious apples with fragrant notes of cinnamon and sugar", it's perfect for the upcoming holiday season.

The 2 pack I purchased at Walmart was $4.99, and I had a coupon for $1 off from the P&G coupon insert from the Sunday paper.

You insert a little plastic packet of fragrance oil into the container and pull up on the base unit to snap it into place. Absolutely no mess!

And it's pretty cute too!
Hopefully they will come out with more fragrance options for the Set & Refresh. I'd love to get Cinnamon Sugar & Home, Winds & Springtime, Pumpkin Harvest & Fall, and my newest find, Sweet Citrus & Zest.

Yay for Spring!

Woo woo! It's spring as far as I'm concerned. The sun is out, I am wearing short sleeves, and my favorite spring candle is back in stock at Walmart!

The Febreze Winds & Springtime candle is absolutely, hands-down, the best candle I have ever purchased. I found it last spring and bought out the store, and have been (im)patiently waiting for them to come back.

Roughly $5 (and you can usually find a $1 coupon in the P&G Brand Saver insert), they're quite a bargain. The glass is nice and thick and feels expensive and there is no label attached to the glass- it looks pricey! The color is a gorgeous shade of pale green, and the scent is FANTASTIC and I feel bad each time I have to blow it out. Febreze promises up to 30 hours of burn time, and they're no kidding. These last forever and burn down cleanly and evenly.

What signals spring for you?

Disclosure: I purchased this candle with my own hard-earned cashola.

It's Beginning to Smell a Lot Like Fall

Febreze, oh how I love thee. I love that you make inexpensive candles that rival Yankee. I've been loving their limited edition candles since I discovered the Winds and Springtime variety in the spring.

Right now I am enjoying the Pumpkin Harvest & Fall scent. (Note: Dear Febreze, there's no need to remove past season's scents from your website if they are still in store and still in season. It seems silly to me that you removed your Fall 2009 scents when you introduced your Christmas 2009 scents....)

Moving on.... right now these are $5 at Target and you can use a $2 off coupon from the most recent P&G coupon insert, making these $3, which is a FABULOUS deal.

I also picked up Cranberries &Frost scent, which I haven't burned yet, but it smells equally yummy. Same price, same coupon, hell of a deal!

My House Smells Fabulous!

The rain has stopped, the sun is out to stay for a bit, and I have Spring Fever. Time to put up the Christmas candles and make the Sasha house smell like spring!

I recently picked up two different candles at Target to see which one I liked best.

First up is Glade Suddenly Spring, purchased for $3.14, which I believe was 50 cents off the regular price at Target.

This candle is such a pretty shade of pale green and looks great in the frosted glass. It smells light and fresh. Cons: the label is permanently attached to the glass, and the scent is very light- you almost have to "try" to smell it burning.

Next I purchased Febreze Winds & Springtime for $6.54, also at Target. I used a $1 coupon from the P&G insert to bring the price down to $5.54. (Note: I just found the same candle for $5 at Walmart, so that's $4 with a coupon.)

The glass is nice and thick and feels expensive and there is no label attached to the glass- it looks pricy! The color is the same pretty shade of pale green, but the scent is FANTASTIC and I feel bad each time I have to blow it out. This scent is stronger than the Glade, but still not overpowering. This candle wins hands down, and I'll be purchasing more since this is a limited edition.

Let me know if you have found other spring-y candles I need to try!
