Biased Journalism At It's Best

The poll to the left is currently running at our local newspaper. How crapily is that worded? It's negative from the get-go.

Several local businesses were bothered that we shut down Main Street for our fabulous festival that brings, wait for it, an estimated 40,000 people to Main Street over the course of the day. Most of who have probably never been on our quaint little Main Street, never purchased there before, and most likely didn't even know what stores were down there.

Can you kindly go here and vote Yes? (You have to scroll down to the bottom of the page and the poll is on the right.) I'd forever love ya.

I voted ... LOL!

Seriously, that is a joke. There are only ever like 5 people walking along Main Street in Norman. Maybe 10 if it is late and that bar where the kids go is open. 40,000 vs. 10!!
