Review: Stadium of Lights by Tia Lewis

by Tia Lewis

He can't help claiming her. But can he love her?

Max
The ladies have always liked me, and I’ve always returned the favor. Now Abby’s messing with my head. And, if I’m honest, my heart.

I didn’t even recognize her at first -- the girl I grew up with. She used to be one of the guys, but now she’s a stubborn, redheaded bombshell.

I don’t want to hurt her but I’m damned if I’ll let anyone else touch her.

She’s mine. Even if I can’t bring myself to tell her that.

Abby
I can’t believe fate brought Max back into my life. He’s the only jock who was ever nice to me, and I hid my feelings so I could be his friend and hang around him.

I don’t think I can hide anymore.

But Max hasn’t changed. Women want him and he wants them right back. I don’t have a shot at being anything but another notch on his bedpost.

I can’t be near him without craving his touch. If I dance too close to his beautiful flame, I know I’ll get burned.

But maybe, just maybe, the heartache will be worth it.

Stadium of Lights is a very steamy standalone, full-length football sports romance novel. It’s only recommended for audiences 18+. No cheating. No cliffhangers. Guaranteed HEA.

My review:
4 touchdown stars!
Sports romance? Football (my faves- I married a college football player!)? Second chance romance? Friends to lovers? All my favorite tropes rolled into one book! Although Tia Lewis was a new author for me, I knew from reading the blurb it was right up my alley!

I really enjoyed Lewis's writing. It flowed easily and I found myself rooting for Max and Abby to get together. I loved that Max didn't recognize Abby at first and that it took some time for it to dawn on him that she had feelings for him. I love when romances start as totally platonic and then develop into something more that than later. In this case, it was years down the road and Max's feelings new feelings for Abby took him by surprise. I also loved knowing from the beginning that this was a HEA! I will definitely be checking out more books by Lewis.
