The Truth About Lies- 5 stars

Wow! The Truth About Lies was AMAZING and I cannot gush enough about it! So much emotion, angst, and PLOT TWISTS! I don't want to say too much, but it's a must read and I am on pins and needles waiting for the second book in the duet!


The Truth About Us- 5 stars

Wow! This book was an amazing finish to the duet! The twists and turns took me by surprise and I LOVED it! It was emotional and intense, yet there was so much sweetness. Aly Martinez is a master at suspense- just when I thought I might know what was going on, something would happen to turn that all upside down. The epilogue was PERFECT and I am so excited that we will get Drew's story next! Cannot wait!

This was so fun to read! I'm a CPA and have a Finance degree and an MBA and I geek out when business mixes with romance. Author Keeland definitely did her research and created such a fantastic business idea (does Stella's product exist???) and a realistic journey getting the business off the ground. I loved how Stella and Hudson met, and re-met. So unique! The Invitation had such amazing banter and chemistry, and so many unique plotlines- I was so sad it was over when I finished. And that cover- wow! Nick Bateman is so handsome and this image was just perfection.

Audiobook Review: Make Me Hate You by Kandi Steiner

 This weekend I finished the audiobook for Make Me Hate You by Kandi Steiner and it was SO GOOD!

5 stars!

So much angst! Make Me Hate You was so intense- there was so much passion and emotion.

 "It's you who brings me pain. It's you who is killing me. It's you, and us," I added, motioning between us. "It's this thing that never was, but always is, that never will be and will never not be." 

Like that quote right there- emotional perfection. I felt Tyler and Jasmine's pain. The story is told only from Jasmine's POV, but it's easy to feel Tyler's anguish and heartache too. Make Me Hate You was real and raw and a story I just couldn't put down. 

Narrator Holly Warren was new to me, but she did an excellent job. I will definitely be checking out her other performances.
