My review: 5+ stars!
Wow! I finished Heartbreak Warfare a few days ago, but had to decompress for a bit before I could fathom writing a review. This book was EPIC! Such a complicated and messy story. I shy away from love triangles, but this was far from a typical love triangle- the circumstances the characters were faced with created something all-together different and almost impossible to describe. What Katy and Briggs experienced together with changes everything about their lives. So many difficult topics are death with and this book goes to some dark places, yet the authors did it SO WELL. Absolutely at the top of my Best of 2018 list!

My review: 5 stars!

This short story is SO FUN and it totally put me in the holiday spirit! (The Hallmark movies I am watching in the evenings isn't hurting!) Second chance romances are always a favorite for me, and I loved Cal and Mandy together. I have really enjoyed the Risking It All series and this novella was a fun way to wrap it up. I am also loving the Almost Royal series, and love the crossover. HOWEVER, this novella, or any of the books in either series, can totally standalone, so I absolutely recommending grabbing My Gift is You even if Rachel Lacey is new to you!

I LOVE these fun facts about the book from Rachel Lacey:

The gorgeous cover and enticing blurb drew me in- but Amie Knight's talent for emotionally-charged romance kept me up way past my bedtime, turning page after page. I found both Adam and Liv to be well-developed characters, and their dialog was so real and believable. Although their relationship started a bit slow, when the first kiss happened, I swooned.... and kept swooning! The ending on this book absolutely leaves you wanting more, but I expect that with a duet announcement and know that the wait for the conclusion will be well worth it. Beneath His Stars will absolutely be on my Best of 2018 list!

This duet was AMAZING! Aly Martinez is the queen of angst and romantic suspense and The Retrieval Duet did not disappoint. Each book somewhat focuses on a different couple, but their stories are woven together and connected. Although dark, the payoff is worth it- the emotions that Martinez captures are both heart-breaking and love-affirming. The first book ends in quite the cliffhanger, but this is to be expected knowing it's written as a duet. This duet was a one of my favorites of 2016 for sure!

Wow! This series is so fun, and the twists and turns and details are amazing! I feel like I need to go back and re-read the first four books to catch all the connections- this series is just *that* good! So many things are revealed in this installment, and I am on the edge of my seat, dying for the next book! I am so impressed with the effort the author has put into this series- the research, the details- I feel like she must have a giant whiteboard at home with lots and lots of tidbits of info written on it!
