I *never* highlight on my kindle, but I posted on Instagram the other day that Jamie McCade changed that. SO MANY HIGHLIGHTS! A favorite:
"He tasted like watermelon gum and regretful decisions. And I loved it."
Jamie McCade is a stubborn rascal with a filthy mouth, and he's pretty much amazing. And Tori's having the WORST time convincing herself she's not into him. I loved their back and forth argue-flirting, and enjoyed that fact that he was so into her that he waited so long for her to realize it too. Enemies-to-lovers is such a fun trope! Wild and Trouble from Four Letter Word were featured quite a bit in Hit the Spot, and I enjoyed getting to keep up with them. I tore through this one night and stayed up way too late to be productive the next day, so I gave it another slower read this week and savored it a bit more. J. Daniels is a pro at fun, sexy reads and Hit the Spot did not disappoint.
