The Rules of Dating My One-Night Stand is the third book in Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward's The Law of Opposites Attract series, and each book has been fantastic. I enjoyed Owen and Devyn's story so much, and I loved that the others guys (and their partners) in the friend group are so prominently featured in each book. Owen is just a dream guy and I loved how much Devyn stepped up for her siblings. Authors Keeland and Ward are two of my favorites- their writing style hooks me from the first page and I always have a hard time doing other tasks in life while reading one of their books. I am so looking forward to the story of the last friend, Brayden.

I originally read Rush a handful of years ago after I discovered author Emma Scott and made my way through her catalog of work. I was so excited to see that she was re-releasing Rush with new content and also incorporating the novella Endless Possibility into it. What a delight this was! I adored Rush when I first read it, but the Deluxe Edition was even more special and such a beautiful story. Charlotte and Noah's story was so well-written and so touching, and just simply beautiful.

New Audiobook Release Review: The Burnout by Sophie Kinsella

 

The Burnout by Sophie Kinsella
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I borrowed the audiobook for The Burnout from my local library, and I enjoyed it so much! (I especially enjoyed that the narrator pronounced the name of the female main character Sasha the same as I pronounce my name- Sash-uh!) Sophie Kinsella has long been one of my favorite authors, and I enjoyed the zany setting of The Rilston with all it's quirks and unusual employees too. Desk clerk Cassidy was a hoot (watch for her hilarious side job) and former surfing teacher Terry's motto "The ride is it." is one we should all take to heart. Sasha and Finn's slow-burn romance was sweet and tender and heart-warming and such a joy to read.
