Skittle Pops!

Last week a friend and I were at the local skating rink with our kiddos, and we were doling out money right and left. As we gave them 50 cents each to buy a "Skittle Pop", I remarked that we ought to try to figure out how to make these at home. I figured out the home version would be much more budget friendly.

And we cracked the code on the first try!

The kids put a few Skittles in small lidded condiment cups and poured Sprite over them. It takes a surprisingly very short time for the Skittles to fully dissolve! Next we put the lids on and put them in the freezer. After an hour or so, they are frozen and the kids are happy. I'll admit to having a few myself- they are pretty yummy!

The combos are endless, but do know that they are also just as good with just one Skittle in each cup.

Here are the cups we used- I found this pack of 50 at Walmart near Solo cups.

Let me know if you have other fun summer snack ideas!
