Rain, Rain, Go Away
The upside is that our yard looks the best it's ever looked color and thickness-wise, but the downside is that Mr. Sasha doesn't like to mow too much, so it pretty much looks like the city is going to come put one of those lovely red "Mow your lawn now, or else" signs in it. And poor guy tried to mow last night, but it started monsooning about mid-way through. And my hair does not do well on wet days. That's the real issue you know.....

Hair Bands
So there's been a really awesome thread about hair band music on my bargain board recently. I just can't stay away from it. All the songs mentioned take me back to the day...... I myself posted a rather large list (why list 1 song when you've got 20 already on one of your own personal OCD lists?).
So, without further ado, the BBC Bargain Board Hair Band Song List (edited of course, just to include my own personal faves, soon to be on my ipod, just as soon as I find the time to get around to doing that.).

All About Me
Sasha does: accounting work and longs to paint nails all day
Sasha can: tap dance, remember names and random details like nobody's business, research the hell of out things on the internet, and can hop out of bed 3 minutes before the alarm goes off.
Sasha loves: her husband, her kiddos, an ice-cold can of Coca-Cola first thing in the AM, tiramisu, her momma van, running, Passionberri, and all things beauty.
Sasha hates: being hot, being sick, green food, the feeling of her bare feet on sheets, and being wrong.
Sasha eats: oh-so-terribly. Lots of carbs, processed food, and other evil yummy stuff with a little yogurt tossed in for good measure. Oh, and Neiman Marcus bars (they are a food group).
Sasha smells: like not much of anything, seeing as how she's self-diagnosed herself with SPD- Olfactory Dysfunction- Hypersensitivity To Smells (Over-Responsive). Fun stuff, huh? It's all unscented-this and unscented-that and don't-you-dare-cook-that-crabmeat-in-my-house.
Sasha hears: Led Zeppelin, The Doors, a little country, and Sophie Kinsella books on tape while she runs.
Sasha watches: too much TV. So You Think You Can Dance, Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders: Making the Team, Rock of Love, Daisy of Love, How I Met Your Mother, The Office, Dancing With the Stars (no results show though), Glee, Lost, Greek, and terribly misses Alias, Veronica Mars, October Road, and What About Brian. See? But she refused to watch Girls Next Door now that Holly, Bridget, and Kendra moved out of the mansion.
Sasha reads: Glamour magazine (every.single.issue for over 20 years!), parenting books, SPD books, anything by Sophie Kinsella, and TV Guide.
Sasha believes: in God, the power of beer, that you can never have too many lipsticks, and that tomorrow is always another day.
