What I Am NOT Listening To Right Now

Last Saturday I attended my cousin's high school graduation, and one of her classmates sang a song I really liked that I had never heard before.

The next day, I heard it on the radio and I thought the original artist did an ever better job! I knew that was a sign- I needed to put it on my ipod.

So I searched the Internet to find out who sang it.

And I was flabbergasted. I sat there in disbelief. I'm a Zeppelin girl, a Doors girl, a classic rock girl! There was no way I liked a song by.....

I just lost some 'cred, huh?

But don't worry, I not purchasing the song just for the principle of it. I'm 35 and there is no way I am allowing myself to have a song by Hannah Montana, in any form, on my ipod.

    I love Hannah Montana. I am 30 (with no kids) and I have all her songs on my IPOD. I really need a daughter.

    Love, love, love MILEY. I have her first CD and it's so fun! I need the second now! (And yes, I am a mom w/ 2 kids and my younger sister ((10!)) makes fun of me!)

    That's a great song and it's playing on country radio right now, and doing very well. She also had a recent hit duo with her dad on country stations! I think she's pretty amazing! Glad you discovered her. Lisa

    I had no idea she sang it. I've been singing it every time it comes on the radio and up until now, I had no idea who sang it. Damn. Miley Cyrus? She's like 15.. I can't be a Hanna Montana lover.

    Yup- get the little one hooked on it too, that's my excuse when I download this stuff onto my iPod! (mine is 3, we can only stand kids' music for so long)

    Oh I'm right there with you. I was like "hey, I like this song" but then threw up in my mouth a little bit when I found out it was Miley Cyrus. Boo!!

    Still a good song though...

    Ha Ha... I did the SAME thing! I heard it on the radio. I liked it, but didnt know who it was, so I used my Shazam app for my iPhone, and found out it was Miley... I decided I would just enjoy when it was on the radio, there was no way I was downloading that!
