When I was growing up, all young boys had an autographed DCC picture on their wall.
I love this show and am so excited it's back on! (Even Mr. Sasha will sneak a watch, although that may have something to do with the skimpy uniforms.)
I have drill team in my blood. Back in the day I dreamed of being a DCC or a Kilgore Rangerette and damn, I had some good high kicks. Alas, I had to get a job in college and there was no time to be on a drill team anymore.
But I digress. It's really a great watch. Who's with me?

I LOVE...LOVE...LOVE...DCC! I sometimes even watch the episodes over and over each time they air.

ReplyDeleteWe got hooked last year. This was the first real thing we watched once we got cable. We just happened to stumble upon it Friday night and loved it again.
It sucks that M's rehearsals are getting longer and starting to cut into the time to watch this. Might have to set up the trusty ole VCR and tape it. :)
I haven't watched it BUT KNOW I would love it! I loved the CMT show when they picked a Coyote Ugly--ha.

ReplyDeleteOMG, I had no idea this show was back! And that's surprising, considering how much dh loved it... them... whatever. ;) I'll have to find it and get tivo right on that. OH, and I love watching those cutie Kilgore girls at the Cotton Bowl, too! We'd totally rock the chorus line! ;)

ReplyDeleteMy brother loved the Cowboys growing up. He wanted that DCC poster sooo bad, but my Mom thought it was inappropriate, and wouldn't let him have it :)
By the way, we cheerleaders in high school liked to refer to the drill team as the whore corps. Just a little joke...
