My Christmas List

I've been making a Christmas list on TheThingsIWant.com, and I just noticed I have three cookbooks on there! I hope I'm not setting my family up for disappointment if they think I'm going to become a better cook. Don't want to set that bar too high.

Pioneer Woman is just so cool... I just love her and actually want to be her.

I think Stephanie O'Dea, the woman behind A Year of Slow Cooking is brilliant and I'm in awe of how her New Year's resolution turned into to something so big.

And we all know I'm so not country-kitchen, but there's something about Gooseberry Patch that I think is adorable and endearing. Maybe I deep down inside want to be country-kitchen? Who knows.

What's on your list?

6 say what?:

Love the Pioneer W. cookbook, it has such beautiful pics, Jeff and the kids even enjoy looking at it. Great cookbook to have.
(don't really have a "list" yet)

PW Cookbook is on my list too! I have a weirder situation than yours, though. I absolutely LOVE to cook and try new recipes and DH has THE MOST BORING palate EVER! So I'll read PW's cookbook, make a few recipes and dream about the rest. The Jan Karon Mitford cookbook is also on my list. :)

LOVE the Pioneer Woman! Today I won her cookbook in a giveaway she had on the blog! I am so excited. Although the grand prize was 3 red Kitchen Aid Stand Mixers. Which is actually on my Christmas list!!! I am not getting one...but oh well, I still won a cookbook!! -Stephanie N

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE thethingsiwant.com. Did I turn you on to that? :)

And I love PW, too - she's from the same place my hubby is!! Crazy, huh? I want her cookbook, but I'm afraid I'd actually MAKE the stuff in it. And it's not so much on my diet. ;)
