Christmas Sucks by Joanna Kimes
We're getting ready to leave to drive down for WC's post-op appointment, and I'm gathering up my reading material for the 3 hour trip.
Mr. Sasha saw what I had set out and flipped.
"Christmas Sucks??? That's terrible! You can't read that!"
Oh, Mr. Sasha. Chill out! This book is just a hilarious look at America's over-commercialization of the holiday. (See? Someone agrees with me!) I'm hell-bent that this holiday season at the Sashas is going to be less about the presents and the family drama and more about the reason for the season. Are you with me?
It's a great pick up-put down read, which is exactly what I need right now. And the humor- oh, it's just perfect! I've never read one of Joanne Kimes's books before, but I will certainly be checking them out now. She and I- we'd great along great.

Good luck at the appt. I might have to read that book. With the way things are going for us right now Christmas will suck. I am trying to make it not about the gifts and just be thankful for what we have. Sometimes that's easier said than done;)
